*Position Overview:*
The Carpenter will be responsible for the assembly, construction, and installation of custom cabinetry, millwork, and other wood structures for high-end kitchens. This position requires a mix of technical expertise and the ability to work both independently and within a team to meet deadlines and deliver impeccable craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the carpentry field, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Carpentry Work:*
* Construct and install custom cabinetry, millwork, and wood structures according to design specifications.
* Perform precise measurements, cuts, and assembly to ensure flawless installations.
* Use a variety of hand and power tools, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
*Quality Control:*
* Maintain the highest standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
* Inspect completed work to ensure all specifications and quality standards are met.
* Ensure all work aligns with company guidelines and industry standards.
*Project Coordination:*
* Collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
* Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute work accurately.
* Address and resolve any technical issues or onsite challenges that arise during construction and installation.
*Client Interaction:*
* Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
* Ensure that client satisfaction is achieved by delivering high-quality finished work.
* Address any concerns or feedback from clients during and after the installation process.
*Problem-Solving:*
* Proactively troubleshoot any issues during installation and find creative solutions.
* Work efficiently to meet project timelines and budget requirements.
*Maintenance and Service:*
* Perform repairs or adjustments on previously installed cabinetry and millwork as needed.
* Ensure maintenance of woodworking tools and machinery to maintain optimal performance.
*Qualifications:*
*Experience:*
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in custom carpentry, cabinetry, or related fields.
* Previous experience in high-end custom projects is highly preferred.
*Skills:*
* Strong woodworking and carpentry skills, including the ability to operate a variety of tools.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design plans.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
* Comfortable working in various environments, including client homes and commercial spaces.
*Certifications:*
* Certifications in carpentry or woodworking are a plus but not required.
