*Overview*
Tanx Transport is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A background in supply chain and logistics is preferred, along with proficiency in systems that support operational processes.
*Duties*
*- *Responsible for 24 Hour dispatch operation, successful candidate must be flexible with their work hours to accommodate all shifts.
- Book loads using load link, DAT, Active-on-demand and other load boards.
- Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Plan and dispatch trucks in a timely manner to meet the customer expectations and company needs ensuring 100% utilization of company assets (truck/trailer).
- Review and plan backhauls required for trucks.
- Maintain good communication with customers and colleagues.
- Attend phone calls from drivers and resolve ongoing issue, if any.
- Must close loads by adding accessorial charges if required.
- Arrange backup drivers and trucks.
- Knowledge about tractor-trailer repairs to be used in case of any emergency.
- Knowledge of customs clearance is required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
*Experience*
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in an operations supervisory role.
- Must have Bachelors degree and a G license.
- Age requirement - 33 years and above.
- Must be PR/Canadian citizen.
- Strong geographical knowledge of North America.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Good typing skills and command of MS Office.

Pay: $55,000.08-$60,000.00 per year
