Want to be a part of one of the fastest growing professional theatre companies in Canada? Crane Creations is hiring a Theatre Technician. This is a full time position in Mississauga, Ontario. The role: The Theatre Technician is a vital member of the Crane Creations Theatre Company team, providing the technical support by operating sound, lighting and video for events like concerts, performances and other community events at our 200 seat proscenium theatre located in Mississauga. Start Date: 01-01-2024 End Date: N/A Compensation: $40,000 About the ideal candidate: You have at least 3 years of experience as a sound and lighting technician, excellent knowledge of QLab, sound systems, lighting systems and video. You are punctual, diligent, disciplined and prioritize safety of yourself and others. You are curious about the world and people. You value collaboration but also excel working independently when needed. You ask questions and seek answers. You Google things. About the company: Crane Creations Theatre Company is a vibrant, young professional theatre company focused on building the theatre community in Mississauga and the Region of Peel. We organize an annual international puppetry festival, produce our own work and collaborate internationally.
