So if you?re looking to do what you love, we could be a perfect match.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Schedule: Monday to Friday 2pm to 11pm</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span>Your role</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Provide effective leadership to team members, including mentoring and building relationships</span></li> <li><span>Provide coaching, counselling, and training to ensure competence and the safe, efficient, and accurate completion</span></li> <li><span>Establish workflows based on delivery orders and scheduling</span></li> <li><span>Assign work to team members, taking into consideration available hours, skill sets and other resources to ensure operational targets are met</span></li> <li><span>Work with Customer Service team members to coordinate loads and carriers</span></li> <li><span>Promote safety in the workplace environment and ensure all safety rules and procedures are followed</span></li> <li><span>Identify problem areas and arrange training when necessary</span></li> <li><span>Prepare and actively participate in the annual performance review process</span></li> <li><span>Investigate new logistical innovations that would enhance overall facility performance</span></li> <li><span>Identify and assist in implementing process improvements</span></li> <li><span>Attend job-related courses yearly to remain current on industry trends and best practices</span></li> <li><span>Conduct routine meetings with staff and encourage input in order to promote job enrichment and increase overall job satisfaction</span></li> <li><span>Assess staffing requirements necessary to process business volumes and submit the recruitment and training plan to Operations Manager for review</span></li> <li><span>Ensure all work is conducted according to health and safety policies and legislation</span></li> <li><span>Directly resolve equipment issues (for example, replace failed equipment or contact Maintenance)</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>The qualifications we are looking for</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>College degree in logistics, production and operations management, replenishment, administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience and/or education)</span></li> <li><span>5-7 years of prior supervisory or team leader experience in a similar position</span></li> <li><span>Proven team-building skills</span></li> <li><span>Ability to manage change well and remain positive to change</span>
