Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort. Tasks: Perform same duties as workers supervised. Assist clients/guests with special needs. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery. Requisition materials and supplies. Supervision: 3-4 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills. Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Supports for visible minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).
