Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Relocation costs covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Assemble and fit metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints. Assemble stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors. Collect, record and summarize inspection results. Compress steel laminations to build transformer cores. Assemble winding into core and make electrical connections. Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints. Assemble and fit electrical motor or transformer auxiliary equipment. Fit electrical control devices into switchboards and panelboards. Assemble panelboard and switchboard cabinets and install bus bars. Monitor production and troubleshoot production problems. Check final assembly for adherence to quality control standards. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.- LocationWaverley, NS
