*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring the kitchen meets all food safety standards. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes * Ensure all food preparation meets food safety standards * Assist in receiving and storing food supplies * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment * Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide excellent service *Skills* * Proficient in meal preparation techniques * Knowledge of food safety guidelines * Experience working in a kitchen setting * Ability to handle various cooking equipment * Strong understanding of food handling procedures * Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op Contract length: 24 months Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay * Tips Benefits: * Dental care * Discounted or free food * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Morning shift Education: * Secondary School (preferred) Experience: * Cooking: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (preferred) * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationLa Conception, QC
