*Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company?s accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, and maintaining financial records. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in various accounting software. *Responsibilities* * Process and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. * Prepare and execute payment runs, ensuring timely payments to vendors. * Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions. * Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding of expenses. * Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. * Analyze accounts payable reports to identify trends or issues. * Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required. * Utilize accounting software such as Workday, Sage, or similar platforms for data entry and reporting. *Experience* * Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial data effectively. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. *Qualifications* * Proficiency in using accounting software; QuickBooks Online * Strong data entry skills with attention to detail * Experience in accounts payable processes and account reconciliation * Knowledge of Workday software is a plus * Ability to analyze financial data and demonstrate strong organizational skills * Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis If you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career within a dynamic finance team while contributing to the overall success of our organization, we encourage you to apply for the Accounts Payable Clerk position.
