Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Industrial electronics technology/technician. Mechanic and repair technologies/technicians, other. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. All weather conditions. Work setting: Maintenance. Repair. Shopwork. Construction industry. Tasks: Assemble mechanical equipment. Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair or replace defective machinery parts. Supervise other workers. Perform routine maintenance work on machinery. Commission systems and components. Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical systems failures. Instruct technicians and students. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records. Maintain and repair water well pumps, piping systems and equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Forklift Operator Certification. Type of resources: Ground water. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office.
