Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Metal product fabrication industry. Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines. Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. Equipment and machinery experience: Brakes. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Bending. Forming. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Judgement. Team player.
