_Responsibilities will include:_ * Drafting documents and correspondence; * Detailed proof-reading of various documents; * Helping firm lawyers prepare for meetings; * Preparing reporting letters and accounts to clients; * Communicating with clients electronically and in person and arranging appointments; * Managing client files; * Other duties as required. _Knowledge, Experience and Skills required:_ * Some post-secondary education in a relevant field; law clerk or legal administration preferred; * Experience in corporate law, and / or wills and estates law will be considered an asset; * Strong written and spoken English; * Proficiency with MS Office; * Can adapt to new software and other electronic platforms; * Strong typing skills; * Good work ethic; * Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with respect to proof-reading; * Personable, reliable and discrete when working with clients; * Ability to follow instruction and to work well within a small team; * Ability to manage priorities and work independently. Compensation is commensurate with experience and benefits are available after satisfactory completion of the applicable probation period. *Sanguinetti + associates* is a boutique law firm providing knowledgeable and friendly service to a diverse clientele of individuals, families and small to medium sized businesses. We are seeking a law clerk to work within our small team environment. The successful candidate will be an energetic and motivated individual who will work closely with the firm?s experienced lawyers to uphold the firm?s reputation for excellent service in Wills and Powers of Attorney, estate administration, corporate and commercial law and real estate law.
