*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems, be able to read schematics and blueprints, and demonstrate proficiency in various plumbing techniques. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. *Duties* * Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. * Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. * Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. * Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. * Collaborate with HVAC professionals to ensure integrated system functionality. * Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. * Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes during work processes. *Skills* * Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to plumbing installations. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. * Experience with hand tools commonly used in plumbing tasks. * Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations. * Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus, enhancing the ability to work on integrated systems. * Ability to assemble and build various plumbing components efficiently. * Previous experience or skills in carpentry can be beneficial for related tasks within plumbing projects.
