Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Bear awareness Certification. Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). Working at heights training. CPR Certificate. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). First Aid Certificate. Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Transportation/travel experience: Provincial/territorial. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel for extended periods. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Overtime required. Physically demanding.
