Job description Overview Resolution Staffing is working in partnership with Lakeland Multitrade to hire a Certified Welder/Fitter. Lakeland Multitrade opened their doors in 1988 and have expanded over the years. Lakeland is the leading employer in the Northumberland area with high quality skilled tradesmen/women, professional engineers and technical office staff. Duties -Three major types of welding: MIG, TIG and ARC - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings to determine operational methods or sequences - Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions - Operate power tools and hand tools for cutting, grinding, and shaping metal - Weld component in flat, vertical or overhead positions according to CWB - Check for quality before, during and after welding - Utilize mechanical knowledge- LocationCobourg, ON
