*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in automotive repair and maintenance. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. *Duties* * Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace defective parts. * Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs. * Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. * Valid Driver's License * Service and repair equipment in the shop and on-site during construction periods. * Complete daily housekeeping duties. * Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine extent of repair required. * Test repaired equipment for proper performance. * Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment. * Complete other Assigned duties. *Qualifications* * Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role is preferred. * Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks. * Experience in welding is advantageous but not mandatory. * A valid driver's license is required. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal Expected hours: 40 ? 60 per week Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Heavy lifting: 1 year (required) * Hand tools: 1 year (required) * Mechanic experience: 1 year (required) * Power tools: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person- LocationGrand Falls-Windsor, NL
