Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various facilities and equipment. Duties: - Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry work, and plumbing repairs. - Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. - Repair or replace broken equipment, appliances, or fixtures. - Install fixtures, shelves, and other items as needed. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests and provide efficient solutions. - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or similar role. - Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks. - Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods. - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks. - High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Nice-to-have skills: - Certification in a relevant trade (e.g., plumbing, electrical work). - Experience in HVAC system maintenance. - Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in maintenance work. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Handyman: 10 years (preferred) Language: * English (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence (preferred) Work Location: On the road- LocationVancouver, BC
