*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate processing accounts payable and accounts recievable transactions, as well as supporting various business functions. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting department. *Duties* * Monitor and post invoices recieved into CDK software, including reconciling monthly statements provided by suppliers before preparing payment. * Reconcile and prepare the daily cash and credit card deposits. * Perform account reconciliation as necessary to ensure accuracy of financial records. * Manage accounts receivable processes as needed, including payment tracking and monitoring delinquentcustomers. * Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare necessary documentation. * Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation. * Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role (AR / AP). * Strong understanding of account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. * Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. * Experience with CDK is consisted an asset, but not required.
