Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Aesthetician/esthetician and skin care specialist. Massage therapy/therapeutic massage. Work setting: Day spa. Tasks: Body care/treatments. Permanent hair removal. Provide general information to customers on beauty products. Advise on beauty products suited to customers' colouring and skin type. Laser hair removal. Perform exfoliating body treatment. Clean, trim and polish nails. Eyebrow tinting. Facials. Provide therapeutic foot massage. Apply glycolic acid treatments. Maintain and build own clientele. Provide product demonstrations. Sell establishments products. Manicures. Pedicures. Relaxation massage. Skin care. Skin peels. Waxing. Eyebrow threading. Provide customer service. Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Esthetician certification. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you available for the advertised start date?.
