We offer a variety of learning formats which include structured Foundations courses (basic literacy through Grade 10 equivalency); structured academic Grade 10, 11 and 12 as well as personalized, self-paced courses at the Foundations and Grade 10, 11 and 12 levels. Courses at the Foundations level develop core skills which prepare students to enter the Grade 10, 11 and 12 courses needed to obtain either the regular or the adult Dogwood Diploma. All courses follow prescribed Ministry of Education curriculum.<p>Qualifications Bachelor of Arts; Major in English<p> Bachelor of Education<p> Recent contract teaching experience and/or student teaching experience in Secondary English is required <p> Membership in or eligible to become a member of the Teacher Regulation Board (TRB)<p> Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS) <p> Your Make A Future Application must include: <p> Cover Letter <p> Resume <p> Academic Transcripts <p> Reports/Evaluations: <p> Recent Graduates require final Practicum Reports<p> Experienced Teachers require a recent Teaching Evaluation (not lesson observations) within the past 8 years <p> 3 Professional References -email and phone numbers <p> Recent Graduates to include your Faculty Advisor, School Advisor(s) and one or more of the following: Principal, Vice principal or most recent previous employer<p> Experienced Teachers to include current Principal, Vice Principal and previous Administrator(s) ** We do not accept friends or teaching colleagues as references** TRB (Teacher Certification
