Reporting to<p>the Maintenance Supervisor Mechanical, while working in a multi-disciplinary<p>team this position provides emergency, preventive and planned maintenance<p>services to heating and HVAC systems and components throughout the Simcoe<p>County District School Board area. This service position will be required to<p>work after hours on-call. SCHOOL <p> LOCATION <p> STATUS <p> DAILY <p> HOURS <p> WEEKLY HOURS <p> POSTING # <p> ATE Ref. # <p> Maintenance Services <p> County wide <p> 1.0 FTE - Full-Time Permanent Position <p> 8.0 <p> 40.0 <p> CU-65 <p> 3844759 Shift: As required<p>Salary Range: $33.29 - $35.22 per hour (BAS/Heating<p>Technician rate)<p>Start Date: As soon as possible Qualifications and Skills<p>Required <p>1 <p>A current Certificate of Qualification as<p>a Gas Fitter (G1) is mandatory to be considered for this position;<p>2 <p>Ability to read, write and interpret<p>electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics;<p>3 <p>Experience with troubleshooting, service<p>and repair of hydronic heating systems, HVAC and refrigeration, plumbing, gas,<p>and oil burners, as well as associated auxiliary equipment and controls;<p>4 Knowledge in the components and control<p>sequences of boilers, chillers, air handlers, hot water heating system<p>components, DDC controls;<p>5 Computer literacy and ability to work<p>effectively with a variety of computer software programs, such as MS Word,<p>Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, and the Facility Services Computerized Maintenance Work order<p>system;<p>6 <p>Ability to work as a team member in a<p>multi-disciplined team and with staff, students, and general public;<p>7 <p>The successful incumbent will be required to be<p>on-call after hours on a rotational basis;<p>8 <p>A valid Ontario Drivers Licence is a requirement and proof<p>thereof will be requested on hiring.Preferred Qualifications and<p>Skills <p>1. Working at Heights fall arrest safety training;<p>2. Lock out tag out/Control of hazardous energy;<p>3.
