Responsibilities:The Host / Hostess ensures every guest is greeted in a prompt, courteous and friendly manner, and thanks guests as they are leaving the restaurant. Essential Job Functions include: Manage reservation system to retain guest preferences, pre-assigning seating when necessary Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible Escort guests to the tables and assist in seating at tables, present menus and extend pleasantries Offer a cordial farewell to every guest, thanking them- LocationOttawa, ON
