The Shipper/ Receiver is responsible for preparing productsfor incoming and outgoing shipments. Keeps careful records of all shipping data after verifying its contents for accuracy and quality. Delivers products directly or arrange appropriate transportation ensuring it meets the customer requirements for a quality product within the requested timeline. In this role, you will also be trained to support Bindery, operating various equipment to complete print orders such as a cutter, folder, collator, perforating machine and performing various finishing requirements. *Job Duties:* * Prepare and complete orders for delivery and/or pick up. * Packing and crating of products and materials to customers. * Properly label and handle shipments, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped according to the paperwork. * Receive and process stock products, all variances and damages must be documented and reported. * Update inventory and shipping records. * Maintain a clean and orderly work area. * Conduct local deliveries as required, ensuring products are delivered on time and meet quality standards. *Preferred Qualifications:* * High School Graduate or Equivalent * Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or bindery operations is preferred, but not required. Full training is provided. * Class 5 Driver?s License * Knowledge of bindery and finishing equipment would be considered an asset, but not required. * Knowledge of the entire print and finishing processes is an asset. * Strong basic math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, and measurements. * Physically fit and the ability to lift upto 50 pounds Certification for operating forklifts would be considered an asset, but not required *Skills & Abilities:* * Team player but also able to work independently. * Excellent work ethic. * Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to keep accurate records, either paper-based or on a computer. * Ability to problem solve. * A safety conscious attitude. * Available to work overtime on short notice. * Demonstrated experience in accuracy and attention to detail * Highly organized * Strong multi-tasking ability * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Computer skills, Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel *Work Environment:* Regular hours with potential for occasional overtime during peak periods. *Wage & Benefits:* This union position offers a wage of $19.89/hour, 37.5 hours per week, and a Benefit package.
