This is a part-time job for Sat morning shifts 10-4 Responsibilities: - Dispense prescription medications to patients and provide appropriate counseling on medication usage and potential side effects - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy - Review patient medication profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications - Monitor patient response to medication therapy and adjust dosages as necessary - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication dispensing and patient information - Provide education and guidance to patients on proper medication administration techniques - Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures Requirements: - Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution - Current pharmacist license in the state of practice - Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred - Strong knowledge of medication therapy management and patient care principles - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Skills: - Medication administration: Proficient in dispensing medications accurately and providing appropriate counseling to patients on medication usage. - Hospital: Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, familiar with hospital pharmacy operations and protocols. - Patient care: Skilled in providing patient-centered care, monitoring patient response to medication therapy, and adjusting dosages as necessary.
