Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Odours. Hot. Dusty. Noisy. Tasks: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). MS Office. Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards . Assist in development of standards, health and safety measures. Assist in the development of chemical engineering processes, studies of chemical engineering procurement, construction, inspection and maintenance. Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results. Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis. Prepare solution of gas or liquid, reagents, and sample formulations. Analytical techniques: Microscopy. Electroanalytical techniques. Particles, surface and colloid chemistry. Physical separation techniques. Sampling. Corrosion studies. Area of work experience: Analysis. Industrial health and safety. Method and technique development. Process troubleshooting. Product development and formulation. Quality assurance and control. Type of industry experience: Industrial and inorganic chemicals. Organic and specialty chemical products. Mineral resources and/or mining. Area of specialization: Inorganic chemistry.
