The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing various types of tiles in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Assess project requirements and prepare surfaces for tile installation.</li><li>Measure and calculate the amount of tile needed for projects.</li><li>Plan tile layouts, considering aesthetics and functionality.</li><li>Cut and trim tiles to fit around corners, edges, and fixtures.</li><li>Apply adhesive or mortar and set tiles in place, ensuring level installation.</li><li>Grout tile joints and clean excess grout from surfaces.</li><li>Install trim pieces or borders as necessary.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a tile installer or in a similar role.</li><li>Knowledge of different types of tiles and installation techniques.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.</li><li>Good communication skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in construction.</li><li>Certification or training in tile installation is a plus</li></ul></div></div>- LocationOakville, ON
