Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures. Help medical examiner in charge. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Pave and rake asphalt. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Experience: Will train. Support for newcomers and refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Veterans: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans . Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans . Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations . Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers .
