Our community of teachers and support staff work collaboratively guide students, developing the whole person intellectually, spiritually, physically and artistically. Our goal is for all students to become independent, capable young people with clear perceptions, skills, and abilities to achieve successfully.<p>Our successful candidate will: <p><p> be able to provide a warm, compassionate learning environment.<p> enjoy fostering children?s sense of well-being, promoting feelings of belonging and inclusiveness.<p> be flexible to the changing needs of the children and programs.<p> work in a team environment, collaboratively with children and families, colleagues and administration.<p> have problem solving and multi-tasking skills.<p> maintain a neat, orderly and clean environment, including all activity areas.<p> have the ability to work under minimal supervision.<p><p> <p>Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications: <p><p> First Aid Training Certificate is an asset<p> Commitment to Catholic Education<p> Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish<p> Training specific to the role (Educational Assistant)<p> Successful Educational Assistant experience<p> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<p> Ability to foster a positive working relationship with students, families, colleagues and administration<p> Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters<p> Additional training in Applied Behavioral Analysis/Intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder and CPI are an asset<p><p>The following is to be included in your application: <p><p> Cover letter<p> Resume/curriculum vitae<p> Relevant Certificates, licenses, memberships/honors in professional/technical associations and associated post secondary transcripts<p> CISND Pastoral Reference form<p><p>As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be required to provide or complete a valid criminal record check and complete diocesan Safe Environment training and submit documentation to indicate they are legally entitled to work in Canada (photocopy of Canadian birth certificate or Canadian passport).<p>- LocationKelowna, BC
