<h2>Job Description</h2><p>The mechanical assembler has the main responsibility of assembling components in order to create and manufacture assembly and automation equipment/machines.</p><p>Orientech designs and manufactures custom automation equipment for a variety of industries, now with nearly 30 years of existence.</p><p>Reporting to the Team Leader, the mechanical assembler will be responsible for participating in the manufacture of this equipment, but also for ensuring its proper functioning.</p><p>Tasks & job responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Assemble mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components by interpreting assembly plans</li><li>Actively participate in the production and manufacturing of custom-made components, which may require, among other things: cutting, drilling and machining of components</li><li>Start up equipment in concert with other team members and various departments to ensure its operation</li><li>Perform and participate, as needed, in the installation and start-up of equipment assembled at the customer's premises, mainly located in North America (to be discussed with the candidate)</li><li>Follow and apply occupational health and safety standards</li><li>Perform any other related tasks required</li><li> </li></ul><p>Requirements & Required skills</p><ul><li>DEP in Industrial Mechanics, Welding, Machining Techniques or other related</li><li>More than 5 years of experience as an industrial mechanical assembler is an asset</li><li>Excellent understanding of CAD drawings (reading and interpretation) -Advocates teamwork, while being very autonomous and versatile -Good ability to work under pressure -Knowledge of: Welding, Manufacturing of parts (machining), Electricity are an asset.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Important - DEP in Industrial Mechanics or related</li><li>Asset - More than 5 years of experience</li><li>Asset - Available for installations / travel</li></ul><h3>Knowledge and skills</h3><ul><li>Important - Understanding of CAD drawings</li><li>Essential - Teamwork</li><li>Essential - Autonomy</li></ul><p><strong>Salary benefits:</strong><span> </span><span>Group insurance</span></p>- LocationLachute, QC
