Atlantic Recreation is one of the Largest Yamaha Dealerships in Canada. Right now we are seeking a Small Engine Technician to join our Team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on ATV's & Side x Sides , Snowmobiles and Motorcycles. We are looking for an individual who considers themselves to be a hard-working and reliable individual and would like to train to become a " Top Notch " Yamaha Certified Technician and become one of the best Yamaha Factory Trained Technicians in Canada. Please send your resume to Steve Ryan General Manager of Atlantic Recreation by email to steve.ryan@atlanticrecreation.com or drop by the dealership anytime for an in-depth conversation about this opportunity. *Responsibilities* * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on small engines using mechanical knowledge and hand tools. * Diagnose engine issues and utilize power tools for efficient repairs. * Lift and maneuver heavy engine components as needed during maintenance procedures. * Utilize welding and electrical experience for specialized repairs. * Interact with customers to provide exceptional service and communicate repair options. * Refer to schematics and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting and repair guidance. *Qualifications* * Mechanical knowledge * Hand tools proficiency * Ability to perform heavy lifting * Experience with power tools * Previous mechanic experience * Welding skills * Electrical experience * Ability to read and interpret schematics * Team Player Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour Flexible language requirement: * English not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Mount Pearl, NL A1N 0A5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * mechanical: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationMount Pearl, NL
