Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations . Advise senior management. Recommend operational changes to ensure that production quotas and procedures are met. Evaluate efficiency of production sites to determine adequacy of personnel, equipment and technologies used. Determine adequacy of personnel, equipment and technologies used for operations. Establish work schedules. Confer with other managers to set production quotas and to plan extraction sites. Ensure adherence to safety regulations. Prepare production reports. Supervision: 5-10 people. Type of industry experience: Mines and quarries. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Organized.
