*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Cleaner will ensure that all areas are kept clean, organized, and safe for both employees and customers. *Responsibilities* * Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. * Utilize hand tools and power tools for cleaning and maintenance tasks as required. * Manage time effectively to complete cleaning duties within scheduled shifts. * Maintain custodial supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. * Communicate with facility management regarding any maintenance or safety concerns. * Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility users. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. * Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. * Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. * Ability to communicate effectively with team members and facility users. * Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. * Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals, hand tools, and power tools is advantageous. * A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
