Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Noisy. Wet/damp. Tasks: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products. Pick orders and stock. Weigh materials and goods. Make labels and attach to goods. Wrap goods. Sort, crate and stack goods. Store cargo and materials. Transport and distribute materials and goods. Organize and maintain inventory. Hazardous products handling and storage. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Forklift Operator Certification. First Aid Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Vehicle and equipment experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Efficiency. Positive attitude. Quick learner. Reliability. Team player. Organized.
