Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Tasks: Interpret welding process specifications. Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes. Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC). Welding techniques: Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG). Gas metal arc welding (GMAW). Flux core arc welding (FCAW). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Public transportation is not available. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Welding helmet. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Financial benefits: Group insurance benefits.
