We are currently looking for *In-Home Care Workers* that have the life experience needed to identify with the unique needs of aging individuals. Becoming a *Home Care Worker / Home Support Worker* is ideal for retired and semi-retired individuals looking to put their time towards purposeful work by helping to make a difference in the lives of seniors, while also providing loved ones much-needed respite & peace of mind. If you are passionate about the health and well-being of seniors and have a genuine desire to assist seniors in need, we encourage you to apply! *Duties include:* * *Home Support *- home maintenance/household tasks, tidying up, laundry, meal preparation, etc. Other service category for *In-Home Care Workers* * *Companionship* - spending quality, one on one time with seniors; engaging them in conversation on topics of interest to them; doing activities they enjoy * *Transportation* to appointments, to help run errands, collect groceries, etc. (using your own vehicle, if feasible) * *Cleaning / Housekeeping *- vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning/sanitizing surfaces, cleaning kitchen, bathrooms, etc. *REQUIREMENTS:* * Passionate about the well-being of seniors & open to providing a variety of home care services, including house cleaning * Previous employed, volunteer, or personal experience assisting seniors, providing home care or caregiving services, or work involving the senior population in other capacities * Strong work ethic, compassionate, reliable, punctual, good time management, efficient, attentive * Flexible availability on weekends * Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills (fluent in English) * Vulnerable Sector Check not older than one year (or otherwise willing to obtain) * Able to provide at least two (2) professional references *The following are assets but not required:* * _Valid driver's license and regular access to a vehicle_ * _Bilingual (English & French)_ We sincerely thank all applicants for their interest in our *Elderly* *Home Support Worker / Home Care Worker* opportunity.
