*CB Process Instrumentation and Controls is looking for an Account Manager (Valve/Valve Automation). *
This position is located in *Vancouver/Lower Mainlaind, BC*.
*Who You Are:*
The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for driving business growth and achieving revenue targets across all valve automation product lines by building and nurturing client relationships within the assigned region. The AM will play a critical role in identifying new opportunities, maintaining client satisfaction, and maximizing the company?s value proposition within the territory. This position requires a collaborative team player who can effectively leverage the full suite of CB's offerings to meet customer needs.
This position, though based in the Lower Mainland will require quarterly travel across Western Canada (up to 25% of available selling time). The focus of this position, is key municipal end users and specifying consulting firms. Contractor relationships and key reseller relationships will fill in selling time to ensure the entire sales process is covered.
*About the Role:*
*Managing Customer Needs*
? Manages key customer relationships and participates in closing strategic opportunities, traveling for in-person meetings when necessary to develop key relationships (End Users, Contractors, Engineering Firms)
? Assist customers through all forms of technology as well as in person meetings and technical support
? Ensure solutions are given in a timely and successful manner based on customer needs and objectives
? Manage client relationships so the CB portfolio of products is preferred
? Manages customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction
*Managing the Business*
? Continually update sales funnel with customer data relating to opportunities and quotations
? Map customers organizations and develop key (Responsible) contacts for all valve product lines
? Develop, maintain and execute a territory sales plan
? Generate leads for the organization
? Obtain sales territory market research and competitor / customer analysis
? Set a good example for your team; work according to company culture and values
? Managing territory pipeline including principal feedback
? Formal product presentation/demonstration skills required
? Develops plans and strategies for business development and achieving the company?s sales goals
*Required Experience:*
? Excellent sales and negotiating skills
? Interpersonal and team communication skills
? Ability to understand customer needs to build a client focused solution
? Be a strong team player to liaise between Principals/Customers/Internal Team
? Ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects under a strict time limit and face paced environment
? Self-motivated and ability to thrive in a result driven environment
? Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma in electro/mechanical or equivalent experience
? Ability to travel domestically as well as internationally
