*Job Title*: Dental Hygienist *Location*: Sherman Dental Centre, Hamilton, ON *Employment Type*: Part-time *Schedule*: * Tuesday, Wednesdays, and/or Friday: 10:00am ? 7:00pm * Alternating Saturdays: 9:00am ? 4:00pm *Pay*: $45.00 - $47.00 per hour, depending on experience *About Us*: Sherman Dental Centre is a family-run dental practice located in the heart of Hamilton, dedicated to providing personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment. Our practice is designed to foster a positive and collaborative team culture. *Job Description:* As a Dental Hygienist at Sherman Dental Centre, you will play an integral role in helping patients achieve optimal oral health. You will provide preventative dental care, perform dental cleanings, and educate patients on maintaining proper oral hygiene. *Responsibilities*: * Conduct dental cleanings (scaling and polishing) * Perform oral health assessments and take digital x-rays * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care * Apply fluoride treatments and sealants * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans * Perform periodontal charting and document odontograms * Collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans and patient care * Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment *Qualifications*: * Valid CDHO License * Minimum of 1 years of experience is preferred * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * A patient-centered approach with a warm and welcoming demeanor * Tracker experience is an asset but not required * CPR certification *How to Apply*: If you are passionate about promoting oral health and delivering exceptional patient care, we would love to hear from you!
