We are dedicated to creating adventure vehicles that inspire people to get out, be active and explore the outdoors. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Marketing Specialist. We?re home to two iconic brands?*Roadtrek* and *Westfalia*?with a focus on delivering exceptional adventure vehicles across North America. We?re looking for a *Marketing Specialist* who is ready to take the lead and drive our marketing efforts while our Marketing Manager is on maternity leave.
Initially, this role will support the Marketing Manager during maternity leave, with the opportunity for long-term career growth at Roadtrek Inc.
*About the Role*
This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in an autonomous environment and is eager to *take full ownership of the marketing function* for both the *Roadtrek* and *Westfalia* brands. As the sole member of the marketing team, you will work closely with our *Marketing Agency of Record* and oversee the day-to-day execution of the marketing plan for both brands. After a *5-month training and shadowing period* with our Marketing Manager you will take the lead while they are on maternity leave, reporting directly to the *CEO* during that time. Upon their return, you will continue to play a key role within the marketing team.
In addition to managing the marketing plan, you will be responsible for *tracking initiatives against the marketing budget*, coordinating *tradeshow logistics* in both *Canada and the United States*, and working cross-functionally with *Sales* and *R&D* to assist with *new product launches*.
*Duration:* Full-time role, with an initial focus on maternity leave support (12 months beginning in April 2025), followed by continued long-term employment.
*Work Environment: *This role is *not remote*?we believe in the power of in-person collaboration and the energy that comes from working together in our *office and production environment*. As a Marketing Specialist, you?ll be hands-on and fully immersed in the action, working closely with cross-functional teams, including *Sales*, *R&D*, and *Production*, to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on *social interaction*, enjoys face-to-face teamwork, and values the creative synergy that comes from collaborating with colleagues in real time. Being on-site will also allow you to gain a deeper understanding of our products, participate in hands-on tasks, and get a real feel for the brand's vision as you work alongside various departments.
*Key Responsibilities: *
* Take *full ownership* of executing the marketing plan for *Roadtrek* and *Westfalia* during the maternity leave, ensuring the execution of campaigns that align with business objectives
* *Work independently and self-manage* multiple projects, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and stay within budget
* *Work closely with external partners*, such as the *Marketing Agency of Record*, to ensure smooth implementation of marketing strategies
* *Review and approve creative work* to ensure alignment with brand standards and consumer appeal, with a keen understanding of graphic design principles
* Balance high-level strategy with hands-on involvement in the execution of day-to-day marketing tasks
* Support *above-the-line* and *below-the-line* marketing tactics, contributing to both broad awareness campaigns and targeted initiatives
* *Track marketing initiatives* against defined budgets, providing regular performance reports and analysis
* *Manage trade show requirements*, including attending shows across Canada and the U.S., setting up and tearing down booths, and representing the brand at events (a valid passport is required for U.S. travel)
* *Collaborate with Sales and R&D* to assist with product launches, providing marketing support and ensuring brand cons
