The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board<p>Invites Applications for the position of<p>Supply Student Support Person<p><p>Supply Student Support Persons (SSPs) assist and support students with various physical, cognitive and learning needs. Applicants must have successfully completed a Diploma or Degree Program in a Community Services related field. (i.e., DSW, CYC, SSW, ECE, NCFS, EA, R&LS). General knowledge of standard practices and procedures associated with the care of students with special needs are essential. Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills are required.<p>Applicants for the Supply Student Support Person positions are required to submit a completed Application for Non-Educational Positions, cover letter and résumé no later than 11:30pm on September 30, 2024 directly to Apply to Education only. <p>Prior to an offer of employment all successful applicants will be required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening document deemed satisfactory to the Board.
