*Overview* The Food Service Counter Attendant plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the efficient operation of our food service area. This position involves preparing and serving food, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. * Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards. * Ensure all food items are presented attractively and served promptly. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining space. * Handle cash transactions efficiently using the POS system while ensuring accurate cash handling practices. * Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. * Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for customers. *Experience* * Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is a plus. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. * Proficiency in cash handling and experience using POS systems is advantageous. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. * A willingness to help team members and contribute positively to the work environment is essential.
