As one part of this comprehensive program, all staff as well as their dependents have access to free and confidential supports through our Employee and Family Assistance Provider (EFAP), in addition to many other program components.<p>Position Requirements: Candidates must be certified by the Ontario College of Teachers (in good standing). New graduates pending OCT certification and candidates with Transitional Certificates are welcome to apply.<p> Candidates must hold qualifications to teach within at least two divisions (i.e. Primary/Junior, Junior/Intermediate). <p> Professional skills and attitudes, including lived experiences, skill sets, backgrounds and varied work experience that may be considered valuable to the position. <p> Experience working with diverse communities and/or in high-priority schools locally or abroad.<p> Availability and commitment to work a minimum of 10 full days per school year.In addition to the above, the qualifications listed below reflect our current classrooms' evolution and needs. The following are Additional Basic Qualifications (ABQs) and Additional Qualifications (AQs) that HWDSB is currently looking to add to our Occasional Teacher roster: Music - Instrumental<p> French as a Second LanguageHourly Rate: <p> Daily rate of pay starts at $261.22 (includes 4% vacation pay).<p>Individual wage for Long-Term Occasional work is based on QECO Rating Statement and Grid Placement.<p>Location: <p> Hamilton and surrounding Region (Ancaster, Binbrook, Dundas, Flamborough, Waterdown, Stoney Creek/Winona)<p> How to Apply: <p>Please apply directly on ApplyToEducation.
