*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The candidate will have 2+ experience in both interior and exterior residential painting, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. *Responsibilities* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. * Apply paint using a brush, roller, or sprayer. * Read and interpret work orders and specifications to follow the scope of work. * Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the painting process. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. * Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. * Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed to ensure the highest quality finish. * Willing/able to work indoors, outdoors, on a ladder and around odours * Attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination * Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive work * Able to lift 50lbs *Qualifications* * Proven experience in residential painting or construction painting. * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting profession. * Ability to follow instructions accurately. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. * Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. *Terms:* -Full and part-time available (please specify your preference) -1 half Saturday work a month -Occasional overtime, evening, and out-of-town work (Bonuses paid for out of town work) -6 month probation -Starting pay will be based on a painting skills assessment (and increases based on a regular assessments) *How to Apply* _*To be Considered for this Position Please Include the Following in your Resume:*_ 1-Your painting experience (number of years, where & when you worked at each position) 2- Any related training including Health and Safety training, Working at Heights, WHMS, etc. Join us in creating beautiful spaces!
