ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY Black & McDonald is currently seeking a Building Operator to join our Vancouver team! If you are a hands-on, customer service-oriented, and technically-inclined professional searching for the opportunity to build a solid foundation for your career, this position is for you. Reporting to the Facilities Management & Operations (FMO) Supervisor, the Building Operator for the Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Sites in the Downtown Eastside (DTES) Vancouver area is responsible for maintaining safe conditions inside and outside of the facilities, performing minor plumbing and electrical repairs, as well as using computerized building management systems. They will conduct mechanical inspection and maintenance of equipment using FMO strategies to ensure continuing operation.- LocationVancouver, BC
