Education: Earned doctorate degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Hospital (staff position). Willing to relocate. Private practice. Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders. Diagnose psychiatric disorders. May conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods. Prescribe medication and treatment . Treat diseases and physiological disorders . Treat psychiatric disorders. Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases. Act as consultants to other physicians. Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Specialization in clinical medicine: Psychiatry. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines.
