You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient progress.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and goals</li><li>Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or other healthcare professionals</li><li>Monitor patients for changes in their condition and adjust care plans as necessary</li><li>Document patient information and care provided accurately and timely in the electronic medical record system</li><li>Communicate with patients and their families to provide education and support, answer questions, and address concerns</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and others to provide comprehensive care to patients</li><li>Advocate for patient rights and ensure patients receive ethical and competent care</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations</li><li>Participate in continuing education activities to keep up-to-date with current nursing practices and new technologies</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario</li><li>Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing </li><li>At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or community setting</li><li>Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team</li><li>Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required</li><li>Proficient in using electronic medical record systems</li><li>Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Must be prepared to respond to emergency situations</li><li>Strong leadership and supervisory skills in relation to both patients and care staff</li></ul><p> </p><ul></ul></div>Company Description<div>We are Nur6 Collective, a healthcare staffing agency dedicated to providing quality healthcare professionals to healthcare facilities in need.
