*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofing and Siding Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with expertise in roofing and siding installation. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. *Responsibilities* * Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. * Install roofing systems, including shingles, tiles, and metal roofs, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening. * Install siding materials such as vinyl, wood, or fiber cement with precision and care. * Perform necessary repairs on existing roofs and siding, including caulking and sealing to prevent leaks. * Utilize hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively during installation processes. * Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. * Collaborate with other contractors or team members to complete projects efficiently. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. * Lift heavy materials as required for various roofing and siding tasks. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a roofing or siding contractor with a strong portfolio of completed projects. * Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans. * Familiarity with various types of hand tools used in construction, including saws, drills, and nail guns. * Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed during installations. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site effectively. * Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members. * A valid driver?s license is preferred for transportation to job sites. * Certification or training in construction safety practices is a plus.
