Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Urban area. Various locations. Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Perform routine maintenance work. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Ear plugs. Safety vest. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Reliability. Team player. Hardworking.
