Our company is hiring capable Painters for our painting work. You will be responsible for scraping surfaces, painting exterior & interior walls, and applying various stains to decks. As a painter, we expect you to be able to paint ceilings, walls and floors Interior, and have no fear of heights that you can't overcome. Your goal will be to provide excellent customer service and to help us efficiently complete our painting contracts. The ideal candidate should have the ability to use a variety of tools and possess knowledge of painting techniques, products and procedures. Responsibilities: * Apply paint using a variety of tools and techniques. * Ensure that the surface is properly prepared for painting. * Apply paints of correct quantity and color according to type of surface being painted (e.g. walls, wood etc.). * Prepare brushes, rollers and other equipment according to specifications. * Work in a timely, efficient and safe manner to complete job on time. * Maintain quality of work. * Inform supervisor of any problems during the job. * Follow a painters? code of conduct (e.g. wear appropriate clothing when working, wash hands before resuming work etc.). * Confer with other painters or supervisors when there are questions or problems relating to the job (e.g. organizing a task among others). Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Tips Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-10-23- LocationFredericton, NB
