The *Pathways to Healthy Families program *works in a holistic and culturally responsive manner to reduce harm to pregnant and/or parenting women who use substances and their families. Our program provides assessment, service coordination, case management, linkages with relevant social service systems, access to support and counselling and access to child development services including, individual parenting consultations, developmental screenings, parenting support, attachment strategies, support groups and workshops for parents as well as parenting resources and information.
*How will you help to get us there?*
As a Counsellor for Pathways you will:
* Develop the capacity for collaboration and provision of effective supports/interventions to pregnant and parenting women and their children in relationship to substance use and early childhood development through training, consultation and coordination with existing community and service networks.
* Work primarily from our offices located in downtown Toronto and Etobicoke, outreaching to services within the community.
* Liaise with existing pregnancy/parent outreach services to promote seamless and integrated services for women and their children.
* Build capacity for the provision of outreach to pregnant and parenting women with substance use concerns.
* Provide individual/group counseling, case management and referral to pregnant and parenting women with substance use concerns in collaboration with exis
