Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Dependability. Reliability. Team player. Experience: Experience an asset.
