*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and a passion for patient care, making a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community. *Responsibilities* * Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. * Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventories. * Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns. * Process prescription orders, including verifying medication information and dosage. * Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies. * Support medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and safety. * Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of pharmacy equipment and work areas. *Requirements* * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. * Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication. * Familiarity with pharmacy technician duties, including medication preparation and dispensing processes. * Strong commitment to patient care and safety standards. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently. * High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
